Our FY2022 Yearly Overview is Out
The Metro Nashville-Davidson Mayor's Office, Office of Community Safety has funds designated to the "Community Safety Partnership Fund (CSPF)" that have been allocated to support grassroots organizations aligned with it's mission. The CSPF's mission is to improve community safety by enhancing endogenous services for socially vulnerable populations.
Programs that enhance community safety are considered ones that focus on populations that are at elevated levels of "Social Vulnerability", as detailed by the CDC here. Types of programs that align the the CSPF goals include (but are not limited to) ones that are focused on the following:
Crime prevention
Neighborhood development
Substance abuse treatment
Job training, employment, and business development services
Recreational, childcare, education and social activities for youth
Mitigating financial risk for socially vulnerable populations
Emergency housing, utility and basic needs assistance
Types of programs that specifically fall outside this scope, unless they primarily address socially vulnerable populations:
Arts programs
Medical organizations
Environmental programs
Religious programs (without dedicated programs serving socially vulnerable populations)
