The Story:
A woman prepares a Thanksgiving dinner for a group of friends as a practice run before preparing actual Thanksgiving dinner for her family. As we see the prep, the dinner, and the aftermath, out of order, we start to see that she and her friends struggle with similar feelings of reliance to others, a feeling that’s just waiting to burst.
Our Beneficiary:
Our beneficiary is Howard Area Community Center! Howard Area Community Center is a social service agency that provides affordable and free education, employment, and health assistance programs for the greater Rogers Park area. Founded as a food pantry, HACC now offers many life-sustaining resources to individuals and families and aims to lend a helping hand on their journey to success.
