Q: How much does it cost to join?

A: The cost of the starter kit, depends on which you choose.  The standard starter kit is $99 plus tax and shipping.  OR you can earn your kit completely FREE when you use your REWARDS from your launch party to pay for the kit. See my website to see what price points are currently available. 

Q: Are the kits all the same?

A: No. The contents of each kit are different and are listed on my website.

Q: How much do I have to sell per month?

A: Technically zero.  We don't have monthly minimums.  The minimums currently are on an annual basis.  So in a 12-month period, a consultant has to have one month of $200 in sales before tax and shipping.

If you are reinstating, the first active month has to be by the end of your first full month as a resinstated consultant.

Q: I have a club account with you - will I lose that if I join?

A: Nope! In fact, it will move over to YOU as the new consultant, and you'll start getting paid on that.

Q: Are there any other fees required?

A: Not required.  However there are a few things you may find worth the investment.  For example, your website is free for the first three months, after that its $15 a month.  Its not a requirement to have a website but I do believe it pays for itself in many ways.  We can talk more about that when the three months is up to help you make the decision that's right for you.

Q: Am I required to do parties?

A: No.  You run your business the way you want to.  Parties in the traditional sense are not a requirement. In fact, it's been YEARS since I've done a home party.  Parties, whatever those may be - online, open houses, bag parties, home parties, fundraisers, etc., are all great ways to expand your network and grow your business.   I will work with you to find what works for YOU.

Q: Do I have to have experience in direct sales or network marketing?

A: Nope.  I didn't!  Scentsy offers incredible training.  I also will provide you with training and mentoring to launch a successful business!

Q: So are you my boss?

A: Nope. Eww! I'm simply here to guide you and help you be successful.  You are an Independent Consultant.  You are in the driver seat.  You control the gas, the break and the gearshift. I won't harass you about your sales, or about anything really.  Everyone I sponsor gets the same training, no matter the end goal.  What YOU do with it is up to YOU.  It's your story to write.

Q: How much money can I make?

A: That's up to you!  You'll get out what you put in.  I always say, treat it like a hobby it will pay you like one.  Treat it like a job, it will pay you like one.  With the right training and effort - you can make a solid amount with Scentsy.  We can talk more about your goals specifically and how you can achieve your goals with Scentsy.  For more information, see the compensation tab here or on my website.  The income disclosure statement also gives a range of what consultants make on average. 

Q: Do I get a discount as a consultant?

A: Not a traditional discount, no.  You do get paid on your own purchases though - so 20-30% on each purchase... think of it like a rebate.  In addition, consultants can host their own parties and earn rewards - free and half priced Scentsy.

Q: What if I have questions or need help?

A; That's what I am here for! As your sponsor, I am here to help guide you on where to find the answers you need and give you the tools you need to be successful.  In addition to my direct help, we have a back office workstation that is full of information, a team page on Facebook that will lend support and inspiration and Scentsy's Home Office staff is always available to you in the Consultant Support department. 

Q: Do I get paid off my kit?  Do YOU get paid off my kit?

A: The answer is no on both fronts.  Your business supplies are not something you get paid to purchase.  Nor do I receive any benefit simply because you join and buy a kit.  I get paid by helping you be successful in your business (when you start making sales) and you get paid for that same effort.  Effort gets rewarded!
