Currently, our research group is pursuing research to lead the advancements in superconductor electronics and high field superconductor magnet technology in collaboration with Oxide Laboratory at the University of Wisconsin-Madison; National High Magnetic Field Laboratory in Tallahassee, Florida; the University of Colorado in Boulder, CO; and the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, MI.
Growth and Structural Properties of Heterostructure of (110)-oriented YBCO/PBCGO
This is a video poster presentation where Julia Jones describes our research on the nanofabrication of an S-I-S tunneling high-temperature YBCO-based Josephson junction device. This poster specifically describes our most recent progress, which is the completion of the heterostructure growth, which consists of the first two layers of our trilayer structure.
Theory and Design 0f (110) YBCO-based Josephson Junction Device
Andrew Fastenau describing our research group's work on the nano-fabrication of an S-I-S tunneling high-temperature YBCO-based Josephson junction device with the general approach of understanding these junction devices and their many forms, our specific model, and the quantum tunneling theory that makes them so special.
