Devotion
David, despite his sins of adultery and murder, was called a man after God’s own heart. The Lord used David to lead His people and to write most of the Psalms, which continue to inspire us today. Paul, once a persecutor of Christians, experienced a radical transformation and became one of the most influential apostles. His letters are found in most of the New Testament and continue to guide and encourage believers. We can't forget my favorite person in the Bible who was very close to Jesus, Mary Magdalene. She also had a sinful past but ended up being one of Jesus's closest followers. She was the first person to witness His resurrection and played a crucial role in spreading the gospel. Throughout the Bible, you will see how God uses sinners. These three people are great examples to prove that no matter how far we may stray, God’s love and grace are still within reach. He chooses the broken, the flawed, and the imperfect to showcase His power and His glory. The same way that God used Mary, David, and Paul, He can also use you. He wants to use your story to show others that you're never too far in sin to be forgiven. There is no mistake in this world that would cause the Lord to turn His back on you. He wants you to be proud of your testimony, not ashamed. Let your story be an example to others that there is hope and it is very possible to go from sin to salvation.

(Romans 5:8) “But God demonstrates his own love for us in this while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”
(Luke 5:32) “I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repent.”
(Isaiah 1:18) “Come now, let us reason together, says the Lord; though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow, though they are red like crimson; they shall be like wool.”
(Mathew 9:10-13) “While Jesus was having dinner at Mathew’s house, many tax collectors and sinners came and ate with him and his disciples. When the Pharisees saw this, they asked his disciples, why does your teacher eat with the tax collectors and the sinners? On hearing this, Jesus said, it is not the healthy that need a doctor, but the sick. But go and learn what this means. I desire mercy, not sacrifice, for I have not come to call the righteous but the sinners.”

We come before You with grateful hearts, seeking Your presence and guidance. We thank You for the blessings You have bestowed upon us and for the strength You provide in times of need.Lord, we ask for Your wisdom to navigate the challenges we face each day. Help us to trust in Your plan and to find peace in Your promises. May Your love and grace fill our hearts, and may we extend that love to those around us.Grant us the courage to stand firm in our faith, even when the path is difficult. Let Your light shine through us, so that others may see Your goodness and be drawn to You.In moments of doubt, remind us of Your unwavering faithfulness.
