SUBMISSION POLICIES
Submissions for individual papers (research-based and practice-based) are welcome from API Education Forum members from inside and outside of Europe. All proposals must represent original work.
Individuals may submit a maximum of one abstract as a single/first author. They may also play an additional role within the conference. Up to three authors in total can be attached to one submission.
Proposals will be accepted in the following languages: French, English
At the conference, individual papers may be delivered in the language(s) or combination of languages of the presenters' choice. Slides, however, in such a case, must be in English. At the time of proposal submission, please indicate which language(s) will be spoken.
Proposals will be reviewed by the conference's scientific committee.
REGISTRATION UPON ACCEPTANCE
If the proposal is accepted, all presenters will need to register for the conference to confirm their participation in the program. All presenters must register by the date announced in order to have a session slot held.
Accepted presenters who know that they cannot attend are asked to contact Brian North by email to withdraw their proposals ASAP so that the spot can be given to another presenter.
PROPOSALS
Proposals are invited for individual papers. To submit a proposal, you must be a member of the API Education Forum.
Papers are formal presentations on a contribution of original knowledge by one or more authors within a fifteen-minute period, including 10 minutes for presentation and 5 minutes for discussion.

Title: 10 words
Biographical information: 100 words
Abstract: 150 words
SELECTION CRITERIA
Relevance and importance of the topic/issue/problem
Evidence of a theoretical framework and links to relevant research, theory, practice, and/or policy (depth and breadth)
Research design / conceptual framework (for empirical studies)
Organization and clarity of the submission
Potential to contribute to action-oriented, plurilingual and intercultural education
