Our next meeting is Monday, October 13!!
Tennessee Pharmacist Association - Tennessee Society of Student Pharmacists (TPA-TSSP) is the student community for the Tennessee Pharmacist Association (TPA). Joining TPA-TSSP is a great way to stay informed of the changes in legislation that affect the pharmacy profession in Tennessee.
Online students are also encouraged to join their respective state pharmacy association! Please feel free to reach out to Policy VP Virginia Truxillo at vtruxillo@mail.lipscomb.edu if you need help getting involved in your state organization!
Lipscomb University College of Pharmacy has two student delegates, Cori Blankenship and Joseph Twyman, as well as two members-at-large, Cori Blankenship and Virginia Truxillo. Applications to be a delegate or member-at-large for TPA-TSSP will be available shortly.
Are there changes you want to see in the pharmacy profession? What is missing from your current pharmacy school curriculum? What are some gaps that limit your ability to provide patient care?
If there is a change you want to see in the pharmacy profession, please propose a resolution! Each APhA-ASP chapter submits resolutions annually of changes they want to see in the pharmacy profession. The resolutions are discussed at Midyear Regional Meeting. Later the resolution may be adopted and influence how and what APhA Advocates for.
If you have a proposal idea email it to vtruxillo@mail.lispcomb.edu.
