Operation Diabetes

My name is Josie Turk and I am from Boaz, Alabama. I graduated from Jacksonville State University in 2020 with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology. I chose to become a chair position through APhA because I wanted to bring awareness to diabetes and be able to carry what I learn into the pharmacy field to better understand my patients and their needs. Pharmacy school has taught me that there are many career path options and I can’t wait to explore them all! Outside of school I enjoy a variety of things but my personal favorite hobby is by far owning exotic animals at home and interacting with them!
