Extracurriculars

Our primary focus is community and support, and we also have several social gatherings a year including a back-to-school party and Friendsgiving. On the "off" Tuesdays (or occasionally other days) we do either Gameschool (board and card games at a member's house or church), Home Visits (extra learning opportunities like car maintenance, homestead animal care, greenhouse visits), or field trips (we've toured a post office, visited an apiary, and had a family swimming day, to name a few).  These all help include family members who can't attend the classes like some of the dads and older siblings with jobs.
