Dear Speakers and Attendees,

    This is an invitation letter and a warm blessing from Prof. Hsien-Tai Chiu, the leader of Taiwan BT&D2 Team from National Cheng Kung University (NCKU), Taiwan, as well as the coordinator of Asia-Pacific BT&D2 Alliance (APBA). On behalf of APBA and the Ministry of Education (MOE) in Taiwan, I would like to invite you to attend the second APBA International Conference, entitled “International Conference of Taiwan-New Southbound Countries: Interdisciplinary and AI-Directed Innovative Solutions for Healthcare”, sponsored by MOE and NCKU in Taiwan. The conference is to be held in December 19-22, 2024, on NCKU campus in Tainan, a beautiful and historical city in southern Taiwan.

    Since founded in 2021, APBA has continued to grow in the number of principle investigators (PIs) and affiliated research groups, and now has reached over 60 PI members across 11 Asia-Pacific countries, including Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, India, Indonesia, Vietnam, Nepal, USA, Japan, Korea and Taiwan. APBA provides a platform for members to exchange information and resources for international collaborations, oversea education, grant applications, business cooperation, and academic publications, etc. To promote the interactions and collaborations between PIs and research groups affiliated with Taiwan BT&D2 Team and APBA, we are inviting PIs and their associated colleagues, postdocs and students to participate this annual conference. This is an interdisciplinary and industrial/academic cooperative activity for us to network each other by giving introduction and feedback of your expertise and experience, whereas the subject of your talk can be related to, but not limited to, drug R&D, precision medicine, AI and Healthcare solutions. We are inviting basic science, clinical and industrial professionals of related fields and their associates to participate in this unique activity. Attached in this brochure please find the conference information and Google survey. We also welcome you to join APBA as a permanent member to share information and collaborate over the APBA platform.

    Please feel free and be encouraged to participate in this unique conference. In the future we will continue to promote this gathering and interactions based on this event through APBA alliance and NCKU, Taiwan.
