Black and White Memento
At Greyscale Lake, guests will find souvenirs from the bygone movie era. Candies and nuts are sold in movie reel tins. Monopoly: Classic Movies allows up to 6 players to play as tokens such as a movie reel or Dorothy’s slipper in order to “buy” the best black-and-white movies (like Casablanca) in the world famous game. Flipbooks for children give the impression that they can create their own movies. Guests can also buy “star glasses, feather boas, and movie star hats. T-shirts such as “Once upon a time…movies were in black-and-white” and leather jackets with “Greyscale Lake” on them are available for purchase. There is also merchandise related to the black-and-white classics.
Cinemagic Theater
Not too far away from the attraction's exit is a small theater, its exterior resembling that of a cinema from the 1920s - specifically, as seen in a black and white photograph, based on the color scheme. If one steps inside, they'll find themselves in a cozy air-conditioned environment backed by a large screen. Have a seat and you can watch one of the multiple black and white movies and short films that play on a loop: among the stars you'll see are Laurel and Hardy, Charlie Chaplin, the Three Stooges, Betty Boop, Oswald the Lucky Rabbit, Harold Lloyd, and (of course) Mickey Mouse.
Take Five Food Truck
At this vintage food truck, guests can imagine being an actor who has been given a quick break from the set. Food trucks like this have been parked outside movie lots like Greyscale Studios ever since their inception. On the menu here are the following: plain fries, cheese fries, chili cheese fries, onion rings, and slices of pie (the black-and-white Oreo one is a favorite).
