Aparna Upadhyay

I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at the University of South Alabama. Before coming to South I was a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of Arizona under the supervision of Prof. Klaus Lux.

I graduated from the University at Buffalo, SUNY in Spring 2021

PhD Advisor: Prof. David J. Hemmer

Prior to that, I received a Master's in Mathematics from the Indian Statistical Institute, Bangalore, India and B.Sc. Hons. in Mathematics from St. Stephen's College, University of Delhi, India

Research Interests: Representation theory, ordinary and modular representation theory of finite groups, symmetric groups, combinatorics of partitions, algebraic combinatorics.
