498A quash after chargesheet 11.03.2022 – In this article, the Madhya Pradesh High court has held that the allegations made against the husband, the mother-in-law, the father-in-law, brother-in-law, sister-in-law are falsely implicated and are general and vague in nature. It is clear from reading the complaint that the allegations made against the relatives of the husband are made without quoting any specific avert act which would attract the provisions of section 498A IPC. Therefore, the the Madhya Pradesh High court has quashed the petition against all the petitioners.
