Venue and local information

The workshop will take place at Porto, the nearest airport is Porto Airport (OPO). Porto can also be reached by train, 3.2hrs from Lisbon (webpage).

The venue is Seminário de Vilar.

From the airport there are several options to get to the venue:

a) Bus number 601 - pickup outside the airport and stop at Palácio. From there it is a 5 minute walk to the venue. This option takes about 1 hour. You can pay for the ticket on the bus.

b) Taxi - pickup outside the airport. This option takes about 15-20 minutes. The price is about 20 euro.

c) Metro - take the metro outside the airport. Ticket machines are available. Exit at "Casa da Música" stop, walk 20 min.

The venue is walking distance (15-20 minutes) from downtown city center. You can also take the buses 200, 201, 207, 208, 302 from Palácio to downtown city center and back. You can pay for the ticket on the bus.

Hotel reservation

Meals

Lunch will be serviced daily at the workshop, along with coffee breaks, at no extra cost.

The venue has a restaurant that can serve dinners. If you wish to make use of this dinner service any day of the workshop, please contact the venue reception and they will arrange this for you.
