Welcome to **Aoshi Media Player** ("the App"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the App. By installing or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not install or use the App.

## 1. Description of Service
Aoshi Media Player is a mobile software application that scans, organizes, and plays local audio and video files stored on your device. The App also allows you to query external lyrics databases and modify file tags.
The App is provided for free and is monetized through advertisements.

## 2. Media Ownership & Licensing
- **User Content**: You are solely responsible for the audio, video, and image files you import, scan, or play using the App.
- **Copyright Compliance**: You represent and warrant that you own or have the necessary legal licenses, rights, and permissions to play, edit, and manage all media files loaded into the App. The App does not host, distribute, or stream any unlicensed media.

## 3. Physical File Operations & Limitation of Liability
The App includes advanced features that modify files on your device's physical storage:
- **Available Actions**: Editing audio tags (title, artist, album, cover art), renaming files, and deleting files from storage.
- **Exclusion of Liability**: By using these features, you acknowledge that write operations carry risk. **The developer of the App is not liable under any circumstances for the loss of files, deletion of media, metadata corruption, or database failures.**
- **Recommendation**: It is your responsibility to maintain secure external backups of your media files before performing metadata edits or file deletions in the App.

## 4. Advertising & Ad-Blocking
- **Ad-Supported Model**: In exchange for free access to the App, you agree to receive advertisements, including banner, interstitial, and rewarded ads.
- **Ad Workflow and Rewards**:
- **Automated Ads**: The App tracks your cumulative playback time and the count of played items locally on your device to determine when to display interstitial ads. By default, an ad is triggered every **2 hours** of playback or after playing **20 items**, whichever comes first.
- **Engagement Reward**: If you click on a banner or interstitial advertisement, you are granted a **24-hour ad-free window** during which no advertisements will be shown. This reward is granted solely at the discretion of the App and requires genuine interaction with the ad. Engagement rewards have no real-world monetary value, cannot be transferred, and cannot be exchanged for cash or other goods.
- **Fraud Prevention**: You agree not to use bots, automated scripts, click-farms, or any other fraudulent methods to artificially view ads or trigger engagement rewards. Any such abuse may result in the revocation of rewards or termination of your access to the App.
- **No Ad-Blocking**: You agree not to block, bypass, filter, mute, or otherwise interfere with the display of advertisements within the App. Using ad-blockers, modified application packages, or DNS filters to suppress ads constitutes a material breach of these Terms and may result in the termination of your right to use the App.
- **In-App Purchases**: The App offers a paid in-app purchase (IAP) to remove ads. If you purchase this option, advertisements will no longer be displayed.

## 5. Lyrics Fetching & Exporting
- **External Sourcing**: The App enables you to search and download lyrics from the open third-party database LRCLIB (`lrclib.net`).
- **Personal Use Only**: Any lyrics downloaded or exported as physical `.lrc` files must be used strictly for personal, non-commercial, and educational purposes. You are prohibited from mass-exporting or automated scraping of lyrics using the App.

## 6. Prohibited Activities
You agree not to:
- Decompile, reverse engineer, or attempt to extract the source code of the App.
- Modify, translate, or create derivative works of the App.
- Manipulate ad identifiers or telemetry data.
- Use the App for any illegal activities or in violation of local laws.

## 7. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE APP IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE DEVELOPER DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. THE DEVELOPER DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.
