is a 3ds Max script, it uses fast UV mapping, developed for ArchViz (geometry with large faces).
Video tutorial for version 1.0
Images from version V 1.0
This tool is designed for mapping 3D models for architectural visualization, such as doors, windows, and walls, streamlining texture alignment.
It is not recommended for use with organic geometry, very small faces, or many faces, as this may produce undesirable results or cause the program to crash.
Use the script with 3ds Max units in cm.
This tool edits UV islands, not textures. In some cases, when a UV island moves to the left, in the viewport it will appear that the texture is moving in the opposite direction. This is because we are editing the UV island and not the texture.
Added support for 3dsmax 2027.
Various minor optimizations.
Developed and tested in 3ds Max 2026.3 and Windows 10.
Features:
Rollout Edit Poly: This group of tools creates/aligns/joins/separates UV islands.
Square UV: It blocks the length and width of the UV island so that they have the same value.
Size: of the UV island to 100cm x 100cm.
Coplanar: if active, it organizes/joins all coplanar faces of the geometry into a single UV island.
MAPPING: This button creates the UV mapping; it must be used with Editable Poly objects and must not have modifiers on the stack.
Refine UV Mapping: This group of tools works with lists and priority ordering.
Clean: clean up the list of faces.
Add Face: Add all selected faces to the current list.
Set as static (*): The UV island (which is selected/marked with a * in the list) is set as the priority. This UV island does not move; the other UV islands will align to it according to the priority order in the list.
Other features for refine UV Mapping, for more details please see the Video tutorial.
Rollout Unwrap: This group of tools rotates, scales, and moves UV islands using different methods (The script uses an Unwrap modifier).
Click mode: Edit the UV islands interactively in the viewport.
By edge: Align the UV islands using the edges as a reference.
Draw line: Align the UV islands using a line drawn on a face as a reference (use the snap to draw the line, work with vertices of the geometry).
Align: Several tools for quickly editing UV islands in the viewport.
More tools for interactive editing in viewport.
