I congratulate the Alumni of AOHS for this noble initiative. I am new to the school, but within this very short time, I have noticed great amount of energy and interest within the alumni members to stay connected and contribute to the development of the school. I am proud to be part of an educational institution that has produced such wonderful gems. They are not just brilliant in their own professions, they have tremendous sense of care and responsibility for the society. This is a true reflection of the great works of all my predecessors who have run this establishment and imparted education. I consider myself very fortunate to collaborate with the AOHS Alumni, which includes eminent personalities. I am hopeful that with their guidance and support, we can take AOHS to the next level. Looking forward to a great partnership with AOHS Alumni Association to transform the quality of education and learning experience at AOHS.

This is heartening to see alumni of Akhua Odang High School coming together on “Mo School” platform to enrich its academic ambience. While the School cherishes each one of its old students, it gets a bit emotionally overwhelming when these students come back with an intent borne out of sheer love for their alma mater. I see this a win-win situation, where the alumni derive a sense of gratitude and self-worth while the School gets to elevate its academic pursuit a notch higher.

It’s for sure leveraging on the success, experience and outreach of its alumni, Akhua Odang High School is poised to add more glory to its prodigious self. But more than the tangible benefits, that is going to come by, the amount of self-belief and reassurance the current crop of students are going to reap through alumni engagement will be the real dividend.

It gives me immense pleasure to see the students of AOHS coming together to form the AOHS Alumni Association. This is a great achievement for the school. Similar to how families handhold their children in the growing phase to make them capable of living their own lives; schools groom students in their learning phase to enable them to achieve academic excellence and economic empowerment. Time comes when families, especially the ageing parents need the love and care of their grown-up children. Although schools and the educational establishments never age, they do expect their students to connect back and extend the same love and care for their schools. Ex-students can bring in fresh ideas and resources to transform the school and influence the quality of education and learning experience for the new generation. The Mo School initiative of Government of Odisha has conveyed this message in a profound manner, which has resonated very well with the student community throughout Odisha. Today I feel extremely satisfied to see my own students, irrespective of their current geographic locations, both from inside and outside India, coming together to get connected and contribute to the development of the school. My congratulations and best wishes to all of them for their noble endeavor.
