R & D in healthcare delivery and financing

Vision

Dr Ravi Shetty's vision is to Simplify Health Care, make it affordable and available to all, believes in One India One Health Care. Dr Shetty wants every resident Indian to get covered with the Universal Health Insurance at an annual Premium of Rs.1500 per family of 6 members, to cover every illness and injury including cancer, without age limits and exclusion clauses.

One India One Health Care

Dr Shetty believes, that it is time to merge all existing State and Central Government Health Care Schemes and use the money realized to share and pay the premium of Ayushman Bharat a family health insurance product. The central and state governments should share the premium with the families at 40:30:30 ratio and pay the annual premium of Rs.1500 per family per year

Dr Ravi Shetty wants the Ayushman Bharat to be made available to every Indian family, where the rich pay the full premium, whereas the poor share and pay with the governments. This Policy should cover all illnesses and injuries including cancer treatment, without any age limits and exclusion clauses.

This Indian National Health Insurance should be operated through an Aadhar linked Digital Health Card & operated through the Health Insurance Hub making use of every health care infrastructure and manpower available in the country.

Health Card carries all data needed for NRC

Dr Ravi Shetty feels that with this  Indian National Health Insurance in place, there is no need for the ‘National Register of citizens’ (NRC) since every data needed for NRC is captured in healthcare data.
