Section-74

Publication for fraudulent purpose.

Whoever knowingly creates, publishes or otherwise makes available a Digital Signature

Certificate for any fraudulent or unlawful purpose shall be punished with imprisonment for a term which may extend to two years, or with fine which may extend to one lakh rupees, or with both.

Explanation in Layman's Term:

Pulication that are done with a fradualent mindset are subject to improsonment and liable of paying a sum of rupees one lakh.

Punishment according to the Section-74:

• Sentenced to jail for two years.

• Liable to pay a sum one lakh rupees.
