Two fully funded Ph.D. positions will be available starting October 2026 (Fall term) for highly motivated students who have completed a Master’s degree in Physics or Materials Science from a recognized university.
I also welcome inquiries from candidates who have completed their Ph.D. and are seeking postdoctoral opportunities. For postdoctoral positions, applicants with experience in ultra-high vacuum systems, angle-resolved photoemission spectroscopy (ARPES), and single-crystal growth or characterization will be given preference.
In addition, other highly motivated candidates are strongly encouraged to apply through competitive university fellowship schemes, such as the Hiroshima University Global Doctoral Fellowship. Interested candidates are encouraged to contact me well in advance of the application deadline.
