I am a Visiting Assistant Professor at Georgia Institute of Technology where my mentor is Thang Le.  Before this, I was a Ross Assistant Professor at the Ohio State University where I worked with Dave Penneys and Micah Chrisman. I received my PhD in mathematics from the University of Iowa where I worked under the supervision of Charles Frohman. I am interested in problems in quantum topology. In particular, I enjoy applying combinatorial methods and tools from low dimensional topology to study tensor categories.
