Wiping Away Perfection: Using Rangoli to Heal Maladaptive Perfectionism and Achievement Anxiety in South Asian Americans
This was my first conference presentation. I had the honor to present this lecture/workshop at the 7th Annual South Asian Mental Health Conference in Hayward, CA. This presentation was based on a previous article titled "APIDA Achievement Anxiety: Rejecting the Rewards of Perfectionism.” For the purpose of this presentation, the content heavily focused on the South Asian community and it featured a healing art activity using rangoli. As such, the presentation was titled "Wiping Away Perfection: Using Rangoli to Heal Maladaptive Perfectionism and Achievement Anxiety in South Asian Americans."
