Like most others, I have a job and one that I love! During the day, you will find me pounding away in the lab trying to clone a gene, purify a protein, solve protein structures and experiment with drugs. I work as a scientific researcher on interesting problems related to human health. To be more precise, I deal with one of the deadliest diseases known to man- Tuberculosis and work towards improving available drugs for better treatment regimens. Other than that, I am mostly at home getting busy. Doing the groceries, laundry, cleaning, cooking, gardening and yes, organising! I love all these daily chores. I am a true Omniphile.
For me, every moment tends to be special when enjoyed. As Swami Vivekananda (Indian scholar) says,” Do one thing at a time and while doing it put your whole soul into it to the exclusion of all else. “I am not sure yet whether I practice as exactly preached by him, but I try my best. I truly believe that every moment, every action and every thought has something in store for us to learn. Afterall its our experiences that make us.
So, while I soak in all my daily experiences, I feel the need to revisit a few occasionally. And that’s exactly why I decided to put down all my experiences in a diary. I must admit that scribbling my thoughts, my observations and my experiences have helped me a lot. Not just in improving clarity but also in sharing them with others.
Don’t worry, they are not mundane articles of life lessons. They are stories. And, everyone can relate to a story!! Dive in this experience of reading and I assure you it will be a memorable one!! A story that you might right one day…
