Currently, I am working as an assistant professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering at IIT (BHU), Varanasi. Prior to that, I was a postdoctoral research associate at the Center for Ultra-Wide-Area Resilient Electric Energy Transmission Networks (CURENT) at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville from 2022-2025.Â
I obtained my M. Tech. and Ph.D. from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kanpur, India, in 2021 and 2022, respectively. Before joining IIT Kanpur, I served ABB India Ltd. as a research and development engineer at Discrete Automation and Motion (DMDR) in Bengaluru, India, from 2013 to 2015. I received my Bachelor in Engineering (B.E) in Electrical Engineering in 2013 from the Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology (IIEST), Shibpur, India (formerly Bengal Engineering and Science University, Shibpur).
My research interests include modulation techniques, reliability of inverters, renewable energy integrations, power transmissions, ancillary services, etc.
I love reading books, listening to music, playing football, and cooking in my leisure time.
