Research Opportunity in Bioprinting: Looking for highly self-motivated Ph.D. candidates can apply for a research position in ANTs through SRM Ph.D. admissions.

Project title: Development of Multi-material Bioprinting.

Project Description: Amalgamation of Microfluidics and Bioprinter has evolved to improve personalized medicine. However, there are challenges in developing multimaterials tissues for mimicking cancer regions is challenging. Integrating the microfluidic device into 3D-Bioprinter can facilitate and fasten drug discovery process. The main goal of the Ph.D. candidate would develop novel micro-reactors and bio-inks to develop tumor tissues.

Essential qualifications & requirements: M.E/M Tech in Nanotechnology (preferred), Biotechnology, Biomedical Engineering. Strong knowledge of Arduino programming and 3D printer / CAD design with deeper understanding of cell biology, tissue engineering, and bio-inks. A keen interest in learning and applying new things is desirable for a collaborative project with Biotechnology.

Fellowship: Successful Ph.D. candidates will get an appropriate fellowship of Rs. 25,000 per month for a period of 3 years provided by SRMIST. GATE qualified candidates would receive Rs. 31,000 per month (Subject to change)
