This project makes use of an Asychronous hysteresis control buck converter with an input bus voltage range of 9V-36V. This circuit operates on a constant current/constant voltage basis(CC/CV). A discrete component driver circuit and two comparator chips (LM393) produce the PWM signal and control the converter's mode(CC/CV).In CC mode, the potentiometer controls the current limit, while in CV mode, the trimmer controls the output voltage limit.Because of the inductor's saturation current and the diode's power dissipation, the maximum output current of this converter is 5A.
