UNTIL I DO THIS PAGE UP REFER TO BELOW
MAIN, semi-follows the events displayed for us on the show. PRE-COMPOUND V; ( tw for terminal illness ) follows his life between the year of 1933 to when he gets injected with compound v in 1939, 18 years old to 24 years old. ADJUSTMENT, between the year of 1939 when he gets his injection and is the sole survivor of the first batch of compound v volunteer injections, and 1941 when he gets shipped off to Europe to fight in world war II. PRIME, between the year of 1947 when he returns to the united states to 1984 when he is imprisoned in a russian vought facility IMPRISONMENT, 1984 to 2022, when he is imprisoned, he is not under cryo the entire time. MODERN, 2022-now + onward. he escapes vought tower before they can imprison him again, and he’s basically at large. NOTE: I am willing to kill off homie at the end of s3 with leons nuclear blast cause….. we can.
MISSING IN ACTION, instead of being handed over to the russian branch of vought, he manages an escape from the helicopter, and ends up in a fishing village in nicaragua, living a peaceful life, until he’s dragged back by unforeseen circumstances. he will only have his SOLAR ABILITIES and nothing with his radiation or nuclear abilities for this.
BACK IN THE GAME. ceo of vought international. instead of the boys and company letting him out of his prison. vought simply lets him out, more or less makes a deal with him— which of course turns in his favor, a downfall of their own making. homie can either be dead or alive, but leon has definitely knocked him down a few pegs. NOTE: this can also be a verse where he simply goes back to vought, he’s not particularly in charge but vought doesn’t control him either. homie is probably alive in that version.
HE WAS BIG AND STRONG. instead of the boys and company letting him out of his prison. copy paste is savior, he waits for the opportune moment and escapes his russian prison. trekking through the siberian wilderness until he got to civilization. a brothel took him in and helped him until he returned to take care of business with vought.
SAVIOR COMPLEX / HORSE RANCHER. just like how the show “portrays”, he does defuse a nuclear powerplant that’s actually a nuclear missile silo. he stops it from being unlawfully launched due to a malfunction “suspected” tampering post world war II, this is what causes his radiation powers. he uses this to fake his own death to escape vought’s clutches, and find a home out west on a horse ranch that builds in Wyoming.
---- sub verse: taking place during western au times.
WAR, WAR NEVER CHANGES. fallout universe. being an immortal because of compound v, he continues on living to see all the way to the 2077 war. vought bought out vault tech effectively making it a subsidiary. a vault was built for him in the event that the bombs did fall. he’s found years later and de-thawed by the brotherhood of steel and its not long until he becomes a wanderer.
GEN V, this heavily depends on what ending I have for him in season 3.
1. horse rancher ending, he’s the living legend, that’s spoken about with many mysteries surrounding his saviors or martyrs “death.”
2. BACK IN THE BOX. the ending where he’s back in the box, but he’s more valuable awake, however he’s kept in a cell and has far more interaction, think magneto in his box.
3. at large ending, he will destroying anything to do with vought, to which they don’t know exactly that its him, its suspected but not proven— kept under wraps by vought, but its a “security” threat to godolkin university.
GEN V, NO CONNECTION TO SOLDIER BOY BUT HIS OWN SUPE, MODERN DAY. 21 during the events of GEN V.
LIKE FATHER, LIKE SON. he finds out about homie in that facility in 1984, takes back his own son, renames him casey and fucks off to europe with him, essentially raising him very very very far away from vought. this is obviously incredible au as another supe would have to rise in the ranks to be in charge and head honcho in vought.
A NEW DAWN. he’s put back on ice, but in the future—- long after the dust had settled and vought was no longer a company, probably over two decades later. leon or “the asset” is bought by a private military company “security contractors”.
WE ARE MAN-KIND. the efforts of meave were lost, when his blast went off. it decimated vought tower, set of a chain reaction of multiple radiation blasts that spanned the entire planet. the only ones who survived were those already exposed to compound v + various super soldier serums, however, they were all now rendered powerless. and must work together to rebuild.
because i'm an extremely indecisive person ( and extra ), I will be crafting three separate "main" arcs for my hunger games verse(s). I have read all books + seen all the films.
I don't have a default hunger games verse but it'll default to certain ones based on which characters I'm interacting with + the plot.
one. the marshall dynasty era. this one is listed first simply because it will take place before the events of the main hunger games trilogy books ( could even be before the events of songbirds and snakes, with a version where leon becomes president of panem [ i'll sush this idea out more ] once I see the film + read the book, I'll probably make this one more in-depth. ). I don't have a lot of this figured out in my head but his father, hiram 'ulysses' marshall, is/was a powerful influential man, who lives in the capitol with his wife rose and his only son leon. the marshalls, previous presidents before/alongside the snows [ they're locked in a rivalry ] are known to be ruthless, cunning, manipulative and strong influential men. ( this can also take place before the first rebellion cause I think that'd be neat, anyways.... ). ulysses enrolled leon in the academy in the capital so potentially him and coriolanus snow would've been classmates. leons goal path hadn't been to join the peacekeepers but his father insisted he at least serve. he's one of the youngest to become an officer in the peacekeepers + the capitols military. it was not a career choice he would've picked had he had it. but ulysses would've wanted leon to become president after him if he wins the next election to continue their legacy.
two. capitol brat. ( this verse is mostly the same as the one below except he's not a victor, this could be written as if the second rebellion doesn't happen as well. ). his father, hiram 'ulysses' marshall, is/was a powerful influential man, distasted that he lost the election to be president of panem who lives in the capitol with his wife rose and his only son leon. he often sponsors various tributes throughout the years and is one of the most elusive ones to convince to sponsor. ulysses has plans in motion to overthrow president snow and become dictator himself. the plans include manipulated and mutating his soft-hearted and wild son, leon hiram marshall into an ultimate killing machine. but with the start of the second rebellion ( this could be written as if the second rebellion doesn't happen as well, where ulysses comes into power. ), president snow became too hard to get close enough to allow it to happen.
three. favorable outcome for district one. ( this will have two versions, because i'm... you know.... extra ). leon hiram marshall is or was a victor hailing from district one. his father, hiram 'ulysses' marshall, is/was a powerful influential man who moved away from the capitol to have a home in district one. he owns / owned various properties in the various districts. while ulysses didn't actually volunteer for any hunger games, he [ heavily abusive in this endeavor ] expected his son leon hiram marshall to train, volunteer, for his own games and win.
( he can be a mentor in either of the ones below as well )
three-a. a career victory. ( I haven't picked out the number for his games yet, which will probably be adaptable, once I figure out what age I want him to be during the actual trilogy. ) once leon turned 17, he volunteered for his games. his games were a derelict urban area of the old world. I'll figure out the other tributes and his alliances eventually. he does win his games and is too regarded as a capitol favorite. because of his fathers wealth status and favor to the capitol and president snow, he is spoiled in every way possible after his games. he's torn when the rebellion with katniss begins but he so desperately wants to get out from his father and the marshall family lines shadow. during the victors purge, he kills his father and his fathers/capitol men in self-defense when they come to kill him. he lives to see panem free of dictatorship.
three-b. panems first victor. ( shhh, I'm leaning into a theme, this will probably be the least used but I needed it up here for science and because I wanted to do it. ) just as the same as above, his father, hiram 'ulysses' marshall, is/was a powerful influential man who moved away from the capitol to have a home in district one. he owns / owned various properties in the various districts. leon hiram marshall was 13 living in district one when the first rebellion started, shortly after the first rebellion. he was 16 during the events of the dark days. (creative liberties) and one year after with the treaty of treason created the first annual hunger games was held. leon was the first to volunteer in an effort to win favor with his father hiram ulysses. details of his games will be soon but he does win and kills his fellow tributes with such ferocity and aggression, it sets the foundation for the games to follow.
sticking to the themes, leons arena in his games ( really need to attach a number to it, but it depends on if I want him in the second rebellion or not ), was a destroyed urban environment nuclear-bombed in the first rebellion. I was also thinking about how theres probably some residual radiation left—— the gamemakers probably also cause more radiation, was even thinking towards the end of the games nuclear winter.
the sponsors leon had of course sent him generous supplies, more importantly a gas mask. like augustus braun, he became a capitol favorite, which pissed off his father at the same time as making him proud, "ulysses" leons father is a complicated man who i hate [ I'll dive deep into that another day, because he's rich and he owns/runs a lot of the production factories in panem, everything of course works towards the capitol but "ulysses" is the dictator of panem before snow in one of my other verses for leon, continuing with the marshall dynasty like his father leons grandfather before him, but that's a whole other thing. ]
