Antiqa ("we," "our," or "the App") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application.

a) Camera & Photo Library Access
We request access to your device camera and photo library solely for the purpose of scanning and identifying antiques. Images captured or selected are processed for AI analysis and are not stored on our servers beyond the processing session.
b) Subscription Data
We process subscription transactions through Apple's App Store. We do not store your payment information directly. All billing is managed by Apple.
c) Usage Data
We may collect anonymized usage data, such as app interaction patterns and feature usage, to improve the App experience. This data is collected through Firebase Analytics and does not personally identify you.
d) Advertising Identifier (IDFA)
With your consent (via App Tracking Transparency), we may collect your device's advertising identifier to measure advertising effectiveness and understand how users discover Antiqa. You can opt out at any time through your device settings.
3. How We Use Your Information
• To provide AI-powered antique identification and valuation services.
• To manage your subscription and account.

4. Data Storage & Security
• Images are processed in real-time via secure APIs and are not permanently stored.
• Scan history and collection data are stored locally on your device using encrypted storage.

5. Third-Party Services
The App uses the following third-party services:
• OpenAI API — for AI-powered antique identification and analysis.
• Firebase Analytics — for anonymized usage analytics.
• Firebase Remote Config — for app configuration management.
• Apple StoreKit — for subscription management.
These services have their own privacy policies. We encourage you to review them.
6. Children's Privacy
Antiqa is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected such information, please contact us immediately.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to:
• Access the data we hold about you.
• Request deletion of your data.
• Opt out of advertising tracking at any time.
• Manage or cancel your subscription through Apple's App Store settings.
For users in the European Economic Area (EEA), you have additional rights under GDPR, including the right to data portability and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
For users in California, you have rights under the CCPA, including the right to know what personal information is collected, the right to delete personal information, and the right to opt out of the sale of personal information.
8. Data Retention
• Local scan history is retained on your device until you delete it or uninstall the App.
• Anonymized analytics data is retained for up to 14 months.
• No personally identifiable data is retained on our servers.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy within the App. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance.
