My name is Anthony Valenzuela and I am currently attending John Burroughs High School. I am also in the NAF Engineering Academy. I was born on March 4th, 2008 in Burbank, CA. During my time in high school, I have been a part of several clubs and have also played on the Burroughs baseball team for a brief period. Outside of school, I still play baseball, however I also like to listen to music, photography, and I also love to get involved in fashion from time to time. I love to help around the community in STEM and non-STEM related areas. Today, I live with my Mom, Dad, my grandmother, and my German Shepherd named Molly. NAF has changed my whole perspective on the field of engineering, and has made me want to strive to become one later on in the future. My past four years in the NAF Academy has taught me a variety of hands-on skills, how to be hardworking in a work environment, etc. During this timespan, I have taken four classes related to the field of engineering, with those being, Engineering 1, Woodworking and Construction, AP Physics 1, and finally ending it off with Engineering 2. I am big on volunteering outside of school with some examples being teaching younger generations the basics of STEM and participating in hands on work.
