As a graduate student and professional, I have had the opportunity to serve as sole instructor and as a doctoral teaching assistant (TA) for multiple courses. MY teaching is enhanced not only by the conventional canon of a course's content area, but also by leading, relevant, current research that is being produced by scholars from a variety of contexts. My teaching reflects a balance of empirical seminal works and critical reflection based on available literature, research methods, and praxis throughout the teaching term. As a teaching researcher, I make the content accessible to students while also pushing their current cognitive development to their learning edge.
