The Anthropologists and Sociologists of Kentucky invites graduate and undergraduate students to participate in its annual paper writing contest in honor of Jules Delambre, a longtime member and supporter of ASK. The goal of the contest is to promote interest in the disciplines of Anthropology, Sociology, and related fields, fostering excellence in research and writing skills among graduate and undergraduate students.
Winning submissions will be published in the June edition of the Contemporary Journal of Anthropology and Sociology (CJAS). Additionally, the student author(s), or designated stand-in, are required to present a summary of their research at the Annual ASK Conference where the winners will be announced.
In 2024, ASK added a student poster contest to our annual meeting. All student posters at the conference are eligible to win this award.
