The 57th Annual Meeting of the
Anthropologists and Sociologists of Kentucky:
Disconnecting and Reconnecting
Saturday, April 11, 2026

Keynote speaker: Dr. Kaelyn Wiles, Centre College
Keynote address: “Scrolling Alone: Technology and the Digital Roots of Disconnection”
We invite the submission of proposals for organized panels, roundtables, workshops and individually volunteered papers and posters. Paper presentations are to be 15 minutes in length (not including questions) and sessions are usually limited to 3 papers (double and triple sessions may be proposed). Posters (36” tall x 48” wide mounted on trifold poster board) will be presented by the author(s) in a one-hour poster session.
We will also be hosting the Jules Delambre Student Paper Contest
and Student Poster Contest.
All proposals and paper contest submissions are due Friday, March 20th, 2026.
Registration Cost (includes lunch and annual membership dues):
$30 - Faculty & Professionals
$15 – Students & Guests
