In October 2024, Anokoro obtained an antique dealer license to launch a system for purchasing Showa subculture and retro items from customers. With this certification, we can now buy Showa subculture and retro goods, as well as comics, magazines, and similar items, from our customers.
Please note, however, that under the Secondhand Articles Dealer Act, we cannot purchase items from customers under the age of 18. Thank you for your understanding.
Items We Accept for Purchase
At Anokoro, we primarily focus on purchasing items related to Showa-era youth and subculture. Below are the general categories we accept:
Subculture and Retro Items: All kinds of goods tied to Showa-era children’s and youth culture.
Books and Publications: Comics, magazines, paperbacks, and other books published during the Showa period.
If your items are unused, boxed, or unopened, we can offer better purchasing terms.
Additionally, we gladly repurchase items that were originally sold by Anokoro, so feel free to bring them in for evaluation!

Additional Notes
A purchase ledger, as required by the Antique Dealer Act, is a logbook used by licensed dealers to document the details of transactions involving secondhand items. This ensures transparency and helps prevent the circulation of stolen or illegally obtained goods.
The ledger includes the following details:
Transaction Date: The date the transaction took place.
Customer Information: Name, address, occupation, contact information, method of identification, and ID verification details.
Item Type and Quantity: Specific details about the purchased items (e.g., type, quantity).
Item Characteristics: Descriptions that help identify the items (e.g., brand, model, unique features).
Transaction Price: The agreed purchase price.
Payment Method: At Anokoro, all purchases are made in cash only.
This process ensures fair and lawful trading while maintaining accountability in the resale of secondhand goods.
