I am a speech-language pathologist, clinician, and research scientist looking to join a mission-oriented organization to which I can bring my practical and theoretical knowledge of human communication and cognitive psychology alongside innovative machine learning approaches to empower people and institutions that seek to better the world through data-driven strategic interventions and programming. I am passionate about interdisciplinary education, practice, and evidence-based, patient centered care.

My expertise in models of human and machine intelligence is informed by over a decade of experience collaborating across disciplines in academic and applied settings as a researcher, instructor, clinician, team leader, and self-proclaimed life-long learner. I hold a doctorate in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Temple University, an MS in Speech-Language Pathology from Rush University, and a BA in Psychology-Linguistics with a French Studies minor from Emory University.
As a researcher, I am experienced in a range of behavioral and computational quantitative methods, with additional expertise in qualitative development of stakeholder-centered outcomes and interventions. In my dissertation research, I used machine learning and natural language processing pipelines, developed by myself using the 'R' programming language, in the analysis of textual and behavioral data in order to explore the relationship between features of the words and phrases we use and aspects of human cognitive architecture and processing.
