After receiving my M.A. in Linguistics, I joined the Hmong Corpus Project at the Department of Linguistics at the University of Minnesota. I work under the supervision of Dr. Hooi Ling Soh. The project aims to provide data-rich manuscripts, texts, and audio files for future linguistics research. The project is funded by the College of Liberal Arts SEED Grant at the University of Minnesota. You can find a recent presentation of mine at the Department of Linguistics here.
My current research priority is to develop a Hmong language classification based on dialects and sub-dialects. I have also compiled a working bibliography, which will turn into a meta-analysis later. Please see the following for my work.
