My 5 year growth plan for Washington Latin Public Charter School's Cooper Library focuses on building a joyful culture of reading, a student body with strong research skills, and a community that is confident and capable in their information literacy. Above all else, I want all members of our school to feel welcome and inherently valued. When they walk into Cooper Library, they will find both windows into other ways of living and mirrors reflecting back their own, authentic lived experiences. Being currently a small and dated collection, the growth plan below discusses not only student engagement but also data-driven collection development and advocacy.
