Stickers

Here are sticker activities for Morning Table, centers, or whatever else you need!

When Do I Switch Activities?

• Every 2-3 days or so, depending on child's interest! Of course refresh activities if needed, unless your child wants to add to it the next day.

What You'll Need

• Dot stickers ($1.50 at Walmart)

• Black Sharpie, normal size ($2 at Walmart)

• Black Sharpie, chunky size ($3 at Walmart)

• Markers ($2.60 at Walmart)

• Kraft paper ($6 at Walmart) OR printer paper ($5.80 at Walmart)

Letters

• Write the uppercase/lowercase letters on paper & trace with dot stickers

• Write all lowercase/all uppercase/mixed case on paper, then do the opposite/same on dot stickers (depending on what your goal is; matching letters or matching upper to lower case). Kids match the stickers to the paper.

• Write child's name on paper. Write matching letters on sticker sheet. Match!

• Draw a black line for lights. Create a key for letters (case, too!) matching color sticker. Match letters to stickers.

• Write child's name on paper. Trace with stickers.

• Draw a tree. Create a key for colored apples/leaves (letter = color). Match stickers to letters on tree.

Numbers

• Write random numbers (pick a reasonable range for your child) on a sticker sheet. Draw caterpillar heads on paper. Kids put caterpillar body circle stickers in order.

• Write numbers (pick a reasonable range for your child) on paper & trace with dot stickers

• Draw ice cream cones on paper. Assign different numbers (sequential or random). Stick number of ice cream scoop dots that match number on the cone.

• Draw a black line for lights. Create a key of number matching color sticker. Match numbers to stickers.

• Draw a tree. Create a key for colored apples/leaves (number = color). Match stickers to numbers on tree.

• Pre-place sticker & write random numbers. Add sticks/sun rays/petals to each sticker according to its number.

Patterns

• Draw/pre-place circle/dot sticker patterns for kid to replicate

• Draw a butterfly & add pattern on half of the butterfly. Complete the butterfly's symmetry!

Colors

• Draw colored shapes. Kids sort stickers by color (any mixed sticker sheet)

• Cut dots in half. Draw multiple fish in all one color on paper. Match color stickers (scales) to fish.

• Randomly place different colored stickers on paper. Connect the matching colors with continuous lines.

• Draw a rainbow shape in dots (matching color optional. Challenge them to remember order of rainbow colors). Match with dot stickers.

Shapes

• Draw basic shapes on paper & trace with dot stickers

Fun

• Draw a green vine, kids place orange/white stickers on the vine for pumpkins.

• Draw a black string for lights, kids place stickers on the string for Christmas lights.

• Draw an Easter egg. Add dots and/or lines (matching color requirement optional). Match stickers.

• Draw scribbles/fun shapes/doodles. Trace with stickers.

• Draw a Christmas tree on paper. Decorate with sticker ornaments.

• Create a picture/object (you pick, fun to match to table theme!) with only stickers.
