Anne with an E

Overview:  Anne with an E is a Netflix adaptation of  Lucy M. Montgomery's Anne of Green Gables. It follows the life of  Anne Shirley, an orphan living in Avonlea. The shows takes place somewhere on Price Edward's Island, Canada. It follows many topics such as women's roles in the 1800s and how society categorized outcasts. In its later seasons it even shows awareness for a part of Canada's dark history. It is a coming of age series and each episode is pretty lengthy. It stars actors such as Amybeth McNulty, Lucas Jade Zumann, and Dalila Bela.
