Maths Playground:
Rotate protractor to measure the angles.
How close can you get?
Line up the red line with one of the yellow angle lines and read the scale from the zero that is lined up (use the inside or outside scale that the zero is the start of)
Level 1 - Estimate the size of the acute angle using the correct protractor scale
Level 2 - Estimate the size of the obtuse angle using the correct protractor scale
Level 3 - Read accurately the size of the angle given by three letters
Level 4 - Position the protractor to measure the size of acute angles
Level 5 - Position the protractor to measure the size of obtuse angles
Level 6 - Position the protractor to measure the size of reflex angles
Level 7 - Position the protractor to measure the size of angles less than 360o
Level 1 - Basic questions on angles together on a straight line, angles at a point, angles in a triangle and a quadrilateral
Level 2 - Questions similar to Level 1 but requiring a multi-step method to find the unknown angle
Level 3 - Introducing angles with parallel lines and in in polygons
Level 4 - Including angles in circles
Level 5 - Mixed questions
Angle Chase - Use knowledge and reasoning to fill in the angles on the geometrical diagrams.
