This website was designed to support the book No Color is My Kind by Thomas R. Cole and the documentary, The Strange Demise of Jim Crow. Project included: capturing video clips; and collecting graphics to be used on the website, writing scripts for audio and editing graphics and audio together for video clips for the website.

A Teacher-to-Business Shadowing Experience
Grant project included: job-shadowing a NASA employee who designed tutorials for astronauts to use while in space as "refresher" or "in-time" training to help in repairs of the International Space Station and the Space Shuttle for a week; and producing lesson plans for 3 - 5 days to be used by teachers in the participating school districts.
Computer Awareness for Educators
Curriculum included: Created online assignments for junior level Computer Awareness for Educators course at the College of Education, Texas A&M University.
A Teaching Guide for the Hello Europe: A Youth Guide to Europe and the European Union CD-ROM
Project included: This unit of lessons was developed for the teacher workshop Bringing Europe to Your Classroom presented June 1, 2002 by the European Union Center at the International Center's World Room at The Bush Presidential Library Complex. These lessons were designed primarily for sixth grade social studies and high school geography and world history, and were developed following the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills.
The World Room Signature Programs
Project included: These programs were developed for K-12 student visitors to the Texas A&M University Bush Presidential Library International Center World Room in order to help promote better global understanding by introducing children to different cultures and international issues through interactive activities tailored to different ages and educational levels.

Project included: These lessons were developed for the teacher workshop Global Forces, Local Impact presented on May 31, 2003 by the International Center at The Bush Presidential Library Complex. These lessons are designed primarily for sixth grade social studies and high school geography and world history, and were developed following the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills and Gifted & Talented guidelines. The project also included a CD-ROM with a compilation of videos, PowerPoint presentations, and lesson plans for teachers to use as stand-alone or in conjunction with lessons provided on the World Room website.

Project included: This CD-ROM was developed for the teacher workshop China: Past, Present & Legend presented on November 8, 2003 by the International Center at The Bush Presidential Library Complex. These teaching materials are primarily for sixth grade social studies and high school geography and world history, and were developed following the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills guidelines. The CD-ROM contained a compilation of videos, lesson plans, teaching units, and links to websites.

Grant included: Monies for Hands-On-Coding implementation in middle school technology courses. Hands on Coding are blocks that allow you to learn coding using physical blocks and movement.

Grant included: Monies for Virtual Business - Entrepreneurship implementation into high school business courses. This online virtual business simulation fosters reading and math skills necessary for real-world practices, and teaches the fundamentals of building and growing an entrepreneurial business.
