Academic Scenes

Let's find a way to improve academia laughing together

Academic Scenes is a team-building activity: collect stories from academia, discuss them together, and turn them into theater scenes.

This idea became reality during a special semester at the Fields Institute in Spring 2024, and resulted in a play on academic dystopia, called Mathopoly. 

The final script of Mathopoly is joint work of Annette Karrer, Christian Gorski, Giulio Tiozzo and Indira Chatterji, who also drew the pictures.
