Mathopoly
Mathopoly
A play on academic dystopia
Academic Scenes is a team-building activity: collect stories from academia, discuss them together and turn them into theater scenes.
This idea became reality during a special semester at the Fields Institute in Spring 2024, and resulted in a play on academic dystopia, called Mathopoly.Â
The idea of academic scenes was originally of Annette Karrer. The full text of Mathopoly has been jointly written by Annette Karrer and Christian Gorski, with the editing help of Giulio Tiozzo and Indira Chatterji, who also drew the pictures.
If you like, you can contribute your scene!
Upcoming performance: December 11th, 2024 at ICMS in Edinburgh, UK, by students of Heriot-Watt University and University of Edinburgh.
