Conserv'Session

Conserv'Session is a collective of students and postdocs aiming to raise awareness about animal conservation/welfare and environmental issues. We organize events such as film screenings, discussion sessions,  photo/video exhibitions, and public talks. Events are open to anyone and available in both English and Japanese, as much as possible.

Marunouchi Kids Jamboree

During the summer of 2019, I had the opportunity to organize a booth with fellow Kyoto University students at Marunouchi Kids Jamboree. We shared our research and interesting facts about animals through games, crafts, puppet theatres, and short talks. This event was targeted towards children from toddlers to elementary school students, and our booth was attended by 1,100 people over three days. (We have been participating in Kids Jamboree for several years, but the events in 2020 and 2021 were postponed due to COVID 19.)
