The Dual Language Parent Academy program allows dual language parents to:
participate in free virtual workshops where they will receive information, ideas, and resources in both English and Spanish
support their student's academic progress and language acquisition

TRANSLATORS & DICTIONARIES
There are many translators and dictionaries on the Internet. These are the most common. We will use them as tools to close the gaps in our understanding. We know the programs are not perfect and we should not completely rely on them.
Google Translator - You will be able to translate between many languages. We are using it for Vietnamese, Arabic, and Shona. https://translate.google.com/
Tigrinya Dictionary - It will be used for words and in some cases for short sentences. The words have audio, but not sentences or phrases. https://www.geezexperience.com/index.php

Food 4 Kids Weekend Backpacks
Food 4 Kids, a program of the North Texas Food Bank, provides kid-friendly, shelf-stable foods to chronically hungry and food insecure students over the weekends. Anne Frank Elementary is one of the schools the has a partnership with the food bank. If your family needs this service, please contact Ms. Martinez.
