Anna Powers
I am a sophomore at the University of Nebraska Kearney. I am in pursuit of my middle education degree, with an endorsement in social science.
I am originally from Dubuque, Iowa, which is right along the Mississippi River. I am the daughter of Tony and Dawn Powers, as well as the sister to Darren Arner and Nathan Powers.
My Teaching Philosophy
I aspire to create student-centered learning environments in which my students are in the driving seat of their own learning. I plan to focus on creating lessons that are engaging and relevant to my students' lives and interests, all while still having them learn the content.
