i love you, always x
i love you, always x
I loved you first in echoes - soft, unseen
Before the world could whisper you to me.
And then again, when river met ravine,
Where light first traced you, golden and free.
Your gaze, like skies of eternal cerulean,
A depth of stars too endless to be true,
I drown, awaken - love you all over again,
A magic woven, only found in you.
Your laughter lingers, mocha-kissed and bright,
A melody the morning wakes to hear,
And when the dusk unravels into night,
I fall once more, unspoken but sincere.
And if the heavens shatter into dust,
If all the stars turn ghostly, dim and gray,
My love, we will linger - rooted, infinite and just -
As time drifts by and sweeps us far away.
