Math Exp(lorations)

The Math Exp group offers middle school students the opportunity to explore exciting mathematics in a collaborative, non-classroom setting.

We do not focus on competitions or aim to provide accelerated curriculum for advanced students.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, all in person Math Exp activities are on hold. If you'd like to receive our puzzle emails, you can sign up here.

  • If you're driving, the closest entrance is Entrance 21, south of the Rice Boulevard/ Cherokee St intersection.

  • We are also only a 10 minute walk from the Hermann Park/ Rice University light rail stop.

We will have a volunteer at the entrance to Herman Brown Hall directing students to our room.
