Postdoctoral Research Associate | April 2025 - present
Working on the STAR experiment's online web server in terms of expanding the redundancy using oVirt and GlusterFS.
Embedding data production at HPC systems
Postdoctoral Research Associate | August 2023 - 2025
Working on searches for RPV SUSY in multijet final states using attention based neural networks.
A search for dark matter particle using Soft unclustered energy patterns in scouting datsets from Run 2 CMS data.
Ph.D. student in experimental particle physics | August 2017 - August 2023
I worked with Dr. Kenichi Hatakeyama on physics data analysis and Dr. Jay Dittmann on CMS hardware projects.
Worked on the physics analysis: "Search for electroweak supersymmtery in hadronic final states" which forms the integral part of my Ph.D. thesis.
Performed particle flow (PF) validations for various subgroups and presently serving as the contact person for phase 2 development work.
Helped to setup the software required for the backend electronics setup in the lab.
Nominated for Outstanding Dissertation award from the Physics department during 2022-2023.
Graduate Research student | August - November 2019
I participated in the installation of the HCAL detector electronics, and later helped in taking sourcing shifts using Co60 radioactive source to cross check the mapping after installation.
Graduate Research student | January - August 2022
Mainly worked on improving the power redundancy and load sharing in the microTCA power module component using python and debugging methods which helped in reducing the load on each power module by ~ 30%.
Contributed towards the development of energy regression in HGCAL using GNN's which showed promising improvements over the previous model based on CNN.
Participated in taking technical shifter role in the CMS control room.
Summer Intern | May - July, 2016
I worked with Dr. Manohari (Scientific Officer G) in the Physics research wing of IGCAR.
My task was to work on calibrating the BGO detector with various radioactive sources. I have used C++ for preliminary data analysis. Also worked on monte carlo simulation of the detector.
Summer Intern | May - July, 2015
I worked with Dr. Prafulla Behara in high energy physics lab in the Department of Physics.
Here, I worked on energy reconstruction and charge ID efficiency of a muon using monte carlo simulated data. I used C++ and ROOT software to perform the data analysis.
