Besides research, I get involved in various other pursuits during my free time. Some of them include:

Graduate School Outstanding Dissertation Nominee

• Nominated for the outstanding dissertation award from the Physics department.

Graduate School Representative for Physics Department at Baylor University

• Participated in GSA meetings with the aim of enhancing benefits for graduate students, raising awareness of issues such as coursework, work-life balance, and physical health among school authorities.

Graduate student representative for Teaching, Learning, and Technology Committee in Fall 2021 and Spring 2022

• Participated in bi-weekly meetings with the TLTC committee at Baylor.

• Shared my views on teaching methods and use of the technology for better and efficient learning in classrooms from a grad student's perspective. 

Sports

• I love outdoor activities as an extrovert person and always up to go for nature walks or long drives. I have acheived several medals in swimming and table tennis at inter-college and intra-college level. Other occasional activities include playing badminton and tennis.
