Opening for a Project Associate position

Our group has an opening for a Project Associate position to work on a project titled "Creep in novel alloys".

Position: Project Associate

Duration: 1 year and subsequently renewable based on performance

Qualifications: M.E./M. Tech or PhD in Materials Engineering or Metallurgy or related branches with an excellent academic record

Pay scale: According to IISc norms

Major skills required:

1. Strong background in microstructure and residual stress analysis

2. Should be able to conduct experiments and analyse data (mechanical testing including nano-indentation, tensile and creep testing)

3. Should be able to learn and operate XRD, SEM and EBSD
